THE SIXTH - A SATURN CASE STUDY
I am fascinated by all things cosmos. I vividly remember the first time I saw Saturn and its rings through a telescope. It stuck with me as a child and hasn't left since. This personal project acts as a letter to my past self to remain curious about my place in the universe, and reminds me just how beautiful nature can be.
My recreation of Saturn was created using Cinema 4D and everything was rendered in Octane. I then composited the renders in Photoshop and added minimal color correction and typography. My goal was to teach myself basic 3D techniques but remain as scientifically accurate as possible. It was an amazing study from which I learned so much about how I see things, and my attempts to recreate them.
